This is a map I drew for the town of Byley, which was the first town my player’s visited in our campaign. It was also one of the first maps I ever drew. First one that’s any good, anyway. I don’t usually add borders anymore, because I either send them over the projector like it’s the actual thing the players see or print them out on nice paper, where the border looks fake.

The idea was the players would enter coming from the path to the north, and have to go to the inn first, where they would need to help out the inn keeper a bit before he put in a good word for them in the rest of the town.

I think the docks turned out particularly well, with the ropes tied to the boats.
