Another map I didn’t get to use. This time, the players would have been the ones able to do an ambush, starting above a group of traveling orcs. Since we had a few melee focused characters, I had hopes of dramatic leaps directly on top of the unsuspecting orcs, potentially killing them instantly.
This map ALMOST turned out really well, and suffered because I threw a whole bunch of maps together just before a session. At some point I hope to go back and switch the colours of the two levels around. As it stands you really need to pay attention to the shadows to figure out which level is higher (it’s the darker layer). The path should have been much more faded as well.
